Kate Tempest is a 26 year old British musician and published playwright, novelist and poet. "The Beigeness" comes from her album Everybody Down, which was released in May by Big Dada records. Melbourne band Augie March have been on an indefinite hiatus for the last 5 years. During that time, frontman Glenn Richards moved to Tasmania and set up a home studio. It was there that the band have slowly recorded their new album over the last couple of years. "After the Crack Up" is the first single from it.

"On The Beach" comes from Lower Plenty's brand new album Life/Thrills, which will be released on 20th June through Bedroom Suck. The Melbourne four-piece will launch the album at the John Curtin Hotel on Friday 11th July supported by Hit the Jackpot, Crude (NZ) and Leighton Craig (Primitive Motion). For more Lower Plenty, you can stream the album courtesy of Mess and Noise.

Alt-J will release their second album in September, the follow up to their Mercury prize-winning 2012 release An Awesome Wave. "Hunger of the Pine" is the first single from the new album, which will be titled This Is All Yours, and sees the British group stripped back to a three-piece after the departure of bassist Gwil Sainsbury.

In April, Brooklyn outfit Woods delivered their eight release, With Light And With Love, which we loved so much we had it as our Feature Album. On 8th July they'll release a 7" single featuring two non-album tracks, including "Tambourine Light".

"The Antidote" features Nai Palm from Melbourne's own Grammy-nominated Hiatus Kaiyote and comes from Brooklyn composer/producer/beatboxer/DJ Taylor McFerrin's debut album Early Riser. The album is out through Brainfeeder/Ninja Tune and features a swag of guests, including Thundercat, Emily King and Taylor's father, Bobby McFerrin.

"First Love Song" will feature on Laura Jean's self-titled album, which is due for release on 22 August through Chapter Music.

In February we brought you the clip for "Springful", the brilliant first single from UK outfit Adult Jazz. The band will release their debut album Gist Is on 4th August. In the meantime, we can enjoy their latest offering, "Spook".
