Stream Bruce Springsteen's new album High Hopes here. The album is The Boss' 18th, and features cover versions, out-takes and new recordings of old songs.

If you appreciated the recent Deltron 3030 album, here's some news you're likely to welcome. Del the Funky Homosapien has just released a new album via Soundcloud, with no prior warning. This one's under the moniker Zartan Drednaught COBRA and it's called Iller Than Most. Stream it here.
Skinny Legions is the moniker adopted by Glenn Hopper, from the Blue Mountains in NSW. Check out his recently released 3 track EP above.
R.A. Rosenborg hails from San Diego. His track "Empire State" has a sunny pop sensibility and is having a limited online release.

"Cross Your Mind" is the latest 7" single from Kelley Stoltz. He co-wrote it with Tim Cohen of Fresh & Onlys, and Magic Trick. It follows his 2013 album Double Exposure. If you didn't catch the title track of that release, listen to it here. It's a cracker!
"Passing Out Pieces" is the first single from Canadian Mac DeMarco's forthcoming album Salad Days, which we can expect out on April 1st.
Beck's much anticipated album Morning Phase is due for release on 24 February and "Blue Moon" is the first single from it. The album is said to be a 'companion piece' to Beck's seminal breakup album "Seachange" (2002), which we love so much that its cover appears in the MadfaMusic banner, and the album is included on our Timeless Albums page. Morning Phase will be the first full length album from Beck since 2008's Modern Guilt and follows the three standalone singles he released in 2013: "Defriended", "Gimme" and "I Won't Be Long" and the sheet music only release, Song Reader.
James Blake recently delivered a couple of hours of music on BBC1 which included his new track "40455" above. Check it out above (complete with him chatting with the show's hosts at the end).
Lapsley is the moniker adopted 17 year old Holly Lapsley Fletcher from Liverpool.
Melbourne's I, a Man will release their album Gravity Wins Again in March. "In Time" is the second single from it.
"War" is from the forthcoming collaborative album by Common and No I.D. called Nobody Smiling. Common describes it as a call to action in relation to violence in Chicago.

New Yorkers Woods will release their new album With Light and With Love on April 15th. Their previous album Bend Beyond was one of our favourite releases of 2012.
Canadian electro funk outfit Chromeo have enlisted the sublime Toro Y Moi (aka Chaz Bundick) for vocal duties on their new track "Come Alive". The song is from their forthcoming album White Women. Check it out above.

He'll be in Australia in January/February to play Toro Y Moi shows for Big Day Out around the country, plus The Hi FI Melbourne on January 21 and The Hi Fi Sydney on January 29. Both sideshows are with Portugal. The Man.

Lupa is the moniker under which 5 year old Sydneysider Imogen Jones releases her electronic/indie music. She previously released "Starved" in December. Check it out here.
Whilst we wait for Beck's new album Morning Phases, which is due out in February, lets enjoy his cover of the John Lennon track "Love". It will appear on a compilation that Starbucks will release on Valentine's Day, which will also include covers performed by Phosphorescent, Jim James and Vampire Weekend.
Vampire Weekend's track "Step" made it into our Best Tracks of 2013. Now they've released the above remix of the track, featuring Danny Brown, Heems and Despot.
SOLO is the moniker adopted by Australian actor Sophie Lowe.

St. Vincent (a.k.a. Annie Clark) has just released "Digital Witness" which will appear on her self titled album, due 21 February. The song considers identity in the Instagram-age. It follows last month's "Birth In Reverse" which will also appear on the album.
Run the Jewels is Killer Mike and EL-P. "Pew Pew Pew" also features DJ Q-Bert.
