Now Playing - August 2013

On this page you'll find a selection of the music we've been enjoying this month. If we've tweeted about it during August or included it in our Spotlight box on the HOME page, you should be able to find it on this page.
The Spotify, YouTube and 8tracks playlists include most of the same content, so choose the format that works best for you. We've also uploaded a bunch of individual tracks on this page that are all new releases (as is much of the content of the playlists).

The 8tracks playlist below will give you most of the same tracks as those included in the Spotify and YouTube playlists above.

But wait...there's more...

We've also been listening to the new Neko Case album and the forthcoming Cactus Channel LP (thanks to themusic.com.au) before it's release on 2 September.

...and on our Videos page...

This month we've also been enjoying the new track from Kim Deal, called 'Are You Mine?' and the first track from the debut solo release by Karl Smith (formerly of Sodastream). Catch the videos for both these tracks here as well as a newie from The Paradise Motel.

For a look back at last year, visit our Best of 2012 page (yeah we know, MadfaMusic wasn't launched until April 2013, but we put together a little 2012 wrap up as the year was drawing to a close and published it on Twitter).

Whilst we excitedly wait for Courtney Barnett's new EP to drop, we thought we'd revisit one of the songs of the year, "Avant Gardner". Listen below.

"Turn All The Lights Down Low" is the first new track from Melbourne's Snout in 13 years.

We love this track by Alison Wonderland!

If you like this track check out Horrorshow's full album King Amongst Many. It was one of the MadfaMusic feature albums in September.
