Early Woman - 5 Faves

Ben Montero from Early Woman told us his 5 favourite moments of "Kinski Assassin" from the Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti album Mature Themes.

This olde worlde nautical/naval captain voice-character should be revisited. I still haven’t heard a more enjoyable track. Doors/Seeds organ and mini drums galore...

1. The opening (and repeated) organ/guitar riff.

2. The ‘who sank my battleship’ refrain. I first heard this live and kept singing it to myself until I heard the record.

3. The bridge ‘I will always have Paris’ and ‘the blowjobs of death’

4. The cute drums

5. The opening (and repeated) organ/guitar riff.

Your next chance to catch Early Woman live will be when they support Amaya Laucirica for her album launch at on Saturday 24th May at The John Curtin Band Room, 29 Lygon Street Carlton.
